Carnivore Lasagnaa (No Noodles, No Sauce)

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground beef (80/20 works best)

  • 8–10 slices bacon (optional but recommended)

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1½ cups ricotta cheese or cream cheese

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or provolone (optional)

  • 2–3 eggs

  • Salt (to taste)

  • Optional: a little butter or beef tallow for greasing


Instructions

  1. Cook the Meat

    • Brown the ground beef in a pan with salt.

    • Drain excess grease only if there’s a lot (fat = flavor).

    • If using bacon, cook it separately until just crispy.

  2. Make the Cheese Layer

    • In a bowl, mix:

      • Ricotta (or cream cheese)

      • Eggs

      • A small pinch of salt

  3. Assemble the Lasagna

    • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

    • Grease a baking dish lightly with butter or tallow.

    • Layer in this order:

      1. Ground beef

      2. Bacon slices

      3. Cheese mixture

      4. Mozzarella

    • Repeat layers until ingredients are used.

    • Finish with mozzarella (and cheddar/provolone if using).

  4. Bake

    • Cover with foil and bake 30 minutes.

    • Uncover and bake another 10–15 minutes until bubbly and lightly browned.

  5. Rest & Serve

    • Let it rest 10 minutes before slicing (important for structure).


Optional Variations

  • Extra-rich: Add heavy cream to the cheese mixture

  • Egg-based “noodle” layers: Use thin omelets between meat layers

  • Spicy carnivore: Add crushed pork rinds mixed with beef fat on top
